How does Social Search work?

Using a simple HTML tag, Baynote's Collective Intelligence Platform (CIP) silently observing dozens of different user actions on your site and identifies virtual communities of like-minded visitors who have similar intent. These communities include every site visitor and visitor is completely anonymous.

The CIP identifies emerging patterns among the visitors which represents the collective intelligence of the crowd. These patterns reveal the true intent of the visitors. As a result, Baynote is able to guide visitors to their intended target much faster than traditional site search.

When a visitor enters a search query, Baynote returns the search results in the order the community of site visitors found most useful.
