Director of Technical Operations

We are looking for a person that has prior experience in setting up and managing a Data Center. The ideal candidate would have been a strong individual contributor earlier in their career and thirsting for a leadership position. This person should have experience and knowledge in systems administration, network design, security, system monitoring and automation. The person should have the Operations mentality of setting up processes, worry about high availability, scalability and performance. The person should be highly-motivated, think holistically, and be able to work in a fast growing, fast paced startup environment.

What is your focus?

• Data center operation strategy, process and execution to deliver performance, scalability and availability of 99.95%.
• Building a team of A++ operations engineers.
• Internal IT operations.

What do you need to be great at?

• Senior management in a Web/IT Operations team – You thrive for the challenges in these areas. You are very disciplined and organized.
• A leader to build a team over time. A good negotiator with vendors and suppliers.
• You understand what makes a data center trouble-free – almost. You can implement all of the process to sleep well at night (with a pager).
• Past scripting expertise – BASH, PERL etc – You smile and smack your lips when you need to automate things.
• Past Unix Systems Administration desired – You know tons of obscure command line options and can probably win a trivia contest in the Unix Command Line flags.
• Good knowledge of network design – Working with Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers and the like make you jump with joy.
• Strong sense of security – both internally and on the hosting systems – You are so protective people don’t know the car you drive.
• Experience working with an On Demand company is a great plus – and you are looking for the next big company in this.
• Experience in Systems Monitoring – You love dashboards, log files, calling cell phones etc.

Data Center Operations Systems Administrator

You will play a key role in the complex data center operations that runs Baynote Services. You are a person that has a strong orientation towards Data Centers. Web Application Developer

We are looking for a Web Application Developer who has developed Web Applications for the last 2+ years. The person should have good UI development skills and be able to translate a UI design into good maintainable code. We are looking for a person who can work well in a fast paced startup environment. Responsibilities:

• Engage with real-world customers on progressive and influential websites

Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities:

• Working in a fast-paced, innovative team environment you will be empowered to sell Baynote solutions to both Mid Market and Enterprise companies in the eCommerce, Media and Enterprise market segments
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales quota and business targets
• Deliver corporate presentations and demonstrations via the web to mid and senior level business owners and executives
• Utilize CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account and effectively manage territory
• Manage sales opportunities through account prospecting, lead qualification, opportunity management, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
• Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business application
• Participate in the development, presentation and sale of a complete value proposition primarily via telephone and web contact

What are the requirements?

• A minimum of 6 years of successful sales experience in a technology software company is required
• Average size of deals closed for past 2 years >$75K
• Met monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives at least 3 out of last 4 years
• Past experience with SaaS or on demand application software companies selling to mid and large enterprise accounts
• Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
• Ability to build rapport, establishing trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up
• An understanding of Web Analytics, Content Management, Search Engine, Customer Support Applications and Portal solutions in a direct sales capacity is preferred
• Fast learner who is results-driven with proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude
• Proven ability to increase deal size and accelerate the buying process
• Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture

Lead Development Representative

As a Lead Development Representative, you are a core member of Baynote's team and you will:

• Support the sales team by conducting outbound calls to senior- and mid-level executives
• Qualify inbound inquiries as well as outbound leads
• Participate in marketing events and programs including trade shows, webinars and online meetings
• Follow through on selling opportunities that emerge from marketing campaigns

What skills are we looking for?

• A keen interest in and experience with successful high-quality and high-volume prospecting is a must!

• You can very effectively communicate in English with executive-level prospects by phone, through email, in meetings, as well as face-to-face
